User - a natural person, legal person or organizational unit without legal personality;

§1 - Information on cookies
- Websites use files so-called cookies ("cookies"), i.e. information saved by servers on the User's end device, which servers can read every time this end device connects.
- Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device and a unique number. Cookies may be placed on the User's end device and then used by SSAB or external suppliers of tools cooperating with SSAB to monitor traffic and activity on the Website.
- The Websites use session cookies, which are deleted after closing the browser, and persistent cookies saved on the user's computer and are not deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
- In the case of https://eduSSAB.coma session file, usually called MoodleSession, is very important. You must allow your browser to place this cookie for business continuity and to keep you logged in while navigating between pages.
- Cookies are not used to process or store personal data, they cannot be used for direct identification of the User and do not cause any configuration changes in the browser and telecommunications end device.
- You can independently manage cookies, including deleting them. The aboutcookies.org website can help you understand the cookie mechanism. In order to delete all cookies from the device, it is enough to clear the browsing history in the browser (remembering that this way you can lose saved information, eg login data, website preferences). You can also choose to block cookies, but doing so may result in most websites missing or not being displayed correctly.
§2 - Processing and Protection of Personal Data
- SSAB is the administrator of personal data collected on the Websites.

- The User has the right to access their data, the right to correct them, and to demand their removal from the database (unless it is contrary to the law) or to limit the right to process their data or withdraw consent - through the forms available on the Websites or by sending a request to the administrator, e.g. to the e-mail address provided above, specifying the scope.
- The administrator may refuse to delete the User's data only in cases specified by applicable regulations, in particular in order to fulfill a legal obligation or to establish, investigate or defend claims.
- In the cases specified by generally applicable provisions of law, Users' data will be made available at the express request of state administration, law enforcement and justice authorities.
- Websites collect data in the following way:
- by voluntarily providing data in forms,
- by saving cookie files in end devices (so-called "cookies") ,
- through information collected automatically using Google Analytics or cookies, such as: IP address and domain name, type of web browser used, type of operating system,
- by using mechanisms for profiling a given User within a given Website, i.e. collecting data on the User's activity, search history, clicks on a given Website, visits to a given Website and its subpages, dates of logging in and registration of the User on a given Website, data on the use of specific services on a given Website.
- Users' personal data are processed in order to establish, shape, conclude, amend or terminate agreements between SSAB and the User, provide services available on the Website in accordance with its regulations or other arrangements of the parties, if they have made them with mutual consent and for the purpose of business contacts i.e. presentation of SSAB's offer, invitations to a meeting, conference, event organized by SSAB or, occasionally, information about activities or related to SSAB's areas of activity.
- Personal data is processed for the period of performance of obligations and the period of limitation of claims arising from the provisions on concluded contracts and the period required by accounting regulations or until an objection is raised pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.
- Users' personal data may be transferred to third parties only with the consent of the User established individually or in the case described in the regulations of a given Website accepted by him.
- The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if he has objections to the processing of his personal data by the Administrator.
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but it may be necessary for the provision of services and the proper operation of the Websites, and in the case of concluding an agreement / order with SSAB, providing the data necessary to perform the agreement / order is a condition for the conclusion and performance of such agreement / order.
- SSAB reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. In matters not covered, the relevant provisions of generally applicable law apply.
