"Creation of a comprehensive professional curriculum in the field of security management based on the new proprietary methodology"
It is a project developed and conducted by The Association of Security Studies and Analysis together with partners: Polish Naval Academy and Tactical Risk Group.
Conscious and responsible management of organizations cannot ignore the issue of security, hence the idea to create a project that will use the experience of former uniformed officers in the realities of the civil world. It is an attempt to introduce a commercial industry standard in the form of a methodology based on the educational potential of the Polish Naval Academy combined with the practical knowledge of selected industry experts. As a result, a standard focused on practical aspects is to be created, profiled for various industries, such as: educational institutions, maritime protection, museums.
It will be addressed both to students and graduates of security studies looking for practical knowledge in the field of security management and practitioners looking for standardized methods of managing civil organizations.
In the long term, this will allow the our platform of cooperation to be extended to a wider group, creating a community in which it will be possible to exchange experiences and increase the level of security for all of us.
"Creation of a comprehensive professional curriculum in the field of security management based on the new proprietary methodology" benefits from co-financing of EUR 58,078.80 received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of the EEA Grants and EUR 10,249.20 received from the Polish State budget.
The aim of the project EOG/21/K3/W/0013 is to create a widely available industry standard increasing the human potential in Poland.

SSAB Sec Manager - The new standard in risk management!
On March 18-20, 2022, the first of a series of expert meetings under the project took place. The inauguration of the creative process, in which fourteen experts in the areas of education, museology, maritime law and security will jointly work out a new methodological approach to security management in educational institutions, museums and on vessels, took place in the town of Szarlota on the shores of the beautiful Lake Osuszyno.
Lots of interesting discussions and first conclusions as part of the work that has just begun and will end with course creation for people who professionally approach to the security of people and facilities in all indicated areas. We hope that the effect of our joint work achieved at the end of this year will contribute in increasing the level of security not only in our country and will introduce a new quality standard in security management, identification of threats, methods of counteracting and systematic verification in a dynamically changing environment.
Subsequent reports on our project work will be published on our website and social media of our association. In November, we plan to organize two conferences devoted to the presentation of the effects of our project, which will be available to a wider group of specialists interested in this subject.
Next expert meetings as part of the work on creating a comprehensive professional curriculum in the field of safety management based on a new proprietary methodology are behind us! This time in two groups, May 14-15 and May 21-22, divided into different thematic areas.
The workshops conducted as part of the meetings were an important step in creating coherent prototypes of all courses planned within the project before entering the expert validation phase. Conducting work were the leaders of the methodological part, Cdr Phd Jerzy Kupiński and Phd Radosław Tyślewicz. Identifying, estimating the impact and mitigating threats in both classic and scenario method gave us another solid substantive material.
On October 7-9 this year the last of the expert workshops planned as part of the work on the creation of a comprehensive professional curriculum in the field of safety management based on a new proprietary methodology for educational institutions, museums and maritime area took place.
The last meeting was the fourth and concluding meeting of the group of experts participating in the project, systematically organized since March this year by the team managing the entire project, consisting of: Cdr Jerzy Kupiński, Dr. Radosław Tyślewicz and Cezary Małecki, MSc.
The workshop allowed for discussing the proposals submitted by 15 project reviewers, who received the prototype version of the solution under development during the summer.
There are two more conferences to promote the final version of the course - both in November. For the maritime area on 15/11/2022 and for education and museums on 22-23/11/2022. Invitation and registration for both events and more information about the program this week on our profile and website.
We got it! The first marine, educational and museum professionals trained in the new SSABSecManager professional security management course.
We were very pleased to host on November 15 and 22-23, 2022 in Szarlota near Kościerzyna a wide group of experts with directors of schools, museums, business, merchant marine officers and industry training centers from all over the country (Wrocław, Szczecin, Krakow , Warsaw, Toruń and Tri-City). It was an opportunity for the first pilot training course for risk managers developed as part of the project entitled "Creation of a comprehensive professional curriculum in the field of security management based on the new proprietary methodology".Thanks to the project, the developed solution will also be available in the form of an on-line vocational course in both Polish and English.
We invite entities interested in including the developed solution in their educational offer to cooperate, and in the near future we are counting on the implementation of pilot analysis in accordance with the developed methodology in selected institutions in all three areas of our project.
